Melodies of Magic

New Year and Christmas are traditionally family holidays, which are associated with the warmth of home, care and love of relatives and gifts given with all one’s heart. Unfortunately, pupils of orphanages are deprived of these simple joys. Therefore, Dariga Nazarbayeva and the Humanitarian Foundation “Degdar” took the initiative to raise money for four orphanages in rural areas.

Dariga Nazarbayeva’s Charity Christmas Concert “Melodies of Magic” was held in the organ hall of the Kazakh National University of Arts on December 13. Donations for children were collected as a part of the concert preparation. Scores of indifferent Kazakhstani people responded to the call to support the project.
     New Year gifts, rehabilitation equipment, equipment for game rooms and training studios were bought on the funds that were raised.
